Bought a set of 'repro' east german jackboots (like Mishas) from Trident via Ebay recently.  No problems, boot arrived in under a week, quite nice too.

I am in current dealings with Trident, I think everyone knows who they are. This is the first time I've dealt with them, and thus far I am not impressed. After I ordered, I emailed them and asked for an order confirmation. No response for over a week until I emailed yesterday saying they *needed to contact me. Their response was that they are "looking for" my items. After over a week, you are LOOKING for ordered items which your site claims are in stock? What that tells me is that my business and time is not a concern of theirs. I hope this order falls through and has a happy ending. If I order from them in the future, considering they claim to have rare items, I will send emails or call to check that the item is in stock beforehand. I will keep you all informed of the progress as the situation develops, considering this company has a lot of stuff we're interested in.

Spike personal I give them a call, it seems thats the only way to get your stuff. If they say still looking just keep bugging them. But deffantly phone them becouse they hardly email back....well they never did me so.

I'm trying to buy some boots from this website I called asking if he had them in my size he said he'd check the warehouse and email me. No email 4 days later I called back he didn't pick up. Not sure if it's worth doing business with this guy.

just bought a kgb patch from this guy. id heard the bad reviews so i was skeptical and in the end shipping was painfully slow but it finally arrived, well packaged and looks great! i bought through his ebay page though since im not sure about his website. in communication with him he did say that if i was interested in something on the site send him a message and he would list it on ebay so the transaction could be processed through them so thats another good alternative. id recommend sending the message via ebay though as it seems like he checks it more regularly

I have never been able to reach him via email. Called him to order a soviet M69 tunic, he was very honest and descriptive about the condition of the item I was inquiring about. I had to call him back to remind him about my order however but eventually I got it. I would say he has the best selection of gear at the lowest price, however the trade off is that he is hard to reach, and prepare to wait weeks to get your stuff.

Has anyone had any luck with emails recently? was getting my order soughed slowly and was at the stage of Giving him payment details but then its gone silent at his end for *Check emails* about 24 Days

On Holiday or what? anyone else had any luck recently, might have to resort to Phone call, he should get a skype so People not in America can call and not be charged a F-Load...

I just bought a uniform of of him. I read the reviews, nut I decided to give him a try anyway. I called him first to inquire about the size and stock that he had and he told me that he would check the warehouse and email a picture of the uniform and the tag inside of it. After reading about all the bad reviews about trying to get in touch with him via email I thought that the order wasn't going to happen. Then a few hours later much to my surprise he sent me the email showing the coloration, size, and tag in the uniform. I called the next day to confirm the order and send payment and 3 days later the package arrived at mouse and it was exactly what i ordered. Overall I am very pleased with trident and I will be defiantly buying from him again.

The phone call is the trick.... usually it goes ok once you have called him....

Surprised he has much stock left though, you must have asked for something quite common - all his good shit he has on the website is more like a historical record than a stock list!

I got a set of dark green Russian TTsko off of him he apparently has some more Afghankas as well both in Khaki and sage green.
