No offense maeant. I didnt know. I would have expected them to issue them Only in combat to preserve the optic. , But it seriously fits in the pouch? Sweet! Thats why i like russian gear. You dont need a whole extra rig to carry an optic.

If you are going to buy a modified freak on the basis of the veshmeshok - no, they were not.
If you want to modify it - even if they were modified, the changes were not so serious as the poor construction of veshmeshok has low potential for modification.
Imagine you are a soldier and you have veshmeshok, needle, thread and a knife what would you modify?
