Red-Alliance At War & Peace show 2011: Successful Deployment!

Red Alliance again visited W&P for a successful deployment.
Our group portrayed VDV in Afghanistan, in 1986.
We had a great time and a good group, and we met some very nice people!

We also had the chance to do a display in the arena, of which we made a small video:

On my way back from the war and peace show right now. Boring ferry.

W&P was nice once again never seen so many afghanistan dressed people together. Arena shows went well and did some great deals. Pics will be shown later.

Just got in from the show!!   OT is still down there awaiting collection, to be organized this week.    I have to say a BIG thank you to every one who was there - the week was an absolute blast for me from start to finish and, like many (all?) others, I really did not want to come home today!! 

Seriously thinking of writing to Rex Cadman the organizer and seeing if he has any plans to go from Sat prior to Sunday!!  Grin

One point already marked for attention for next year is to organize some for of in-show transport to get from the MV groups pitch in the America's field where my Stalwart lives to the RS pitch in Living History where the OT  now lives - may not seem far but doing it a few times a day  means by the evening it's crash-out time, not party, party...  Grin

yes was a great show   as allways


great to meet all the euro boys  again + a few more     the home boys   ( u.k  based )
and Team America  a few very nice pictures on the W+P  on PKM as above
