Here is the prototype of the muzzle brake used by spetsnaz.
The few flaws will be correct thereafter.
Produced by Aposquall, the muzzle brake will be in steel available in 3 finishes : polished, black and blued.
The price will be 30€ for the polished and black version and 35€ for the blued one.
The issuance is expected for the end of 2011.
You can already pre-order it by contacting Aposquall via his email address : aposquall38@hotmail.com

Note that a "version 2" will also be created:

Are these MB all for 5.45, or do you have 7.62 as well?

I don't know if the muzzle brake can be used for a real AK.
The first use is for airsoft but maybe can be used for real arms.
For more information, please contact directly Aposquall. Wink

What is the difference ? Except the cylinder for the passing of the bullet.

Well, i don't know actually.
I saw it on some site there are MB for both 5.45 and 7.62.I suppose it doesn't matter in airsoft, other than having the right one for the sake of authenticity.

What would be the functional difference between this and the normal '74 muzzle brake? Does it lower recoil even further or something?

Just wanted to add that the prototype looks excellent, this is a very cool idea.

The thread is 24mm x 1.5mm, not 2mm as marked on the drawing.

A slightly slimmer version, to suit SVDs or SMGs maybe?

The owner of the CA SVD that I used for that picture liked it, and wanted one, so I've modified his sight-block...

The flash-hider and sight-block was a one-piece part, so I cut it at the back of the flash-hider, threaded the rear end, and made a threaded adaptor to fit in the sight-block.
Now he can swap between the two, or fit anything else with a 14mm L/H thread.

If it has the same thread (24mm x 1.5mm pitch), then yes.
