Not to be that guy but who's betting we are going to start seeing broken gas blocks in the future?

Correction - this is totally compatible with real gas blocks - the problem is the diameter of the lower handguard retainer. You may need to open the rear bracket on the launcher just a bit to allow it to seat properly.

I'd like to hear some more about the ВОГ25 rounds.
How do they lock inside the tube?
How do they perform?

Is the tube of a narrower diameter than the replicas designed to use the standard 40mm shells? My RedReenactor ВОГ25 replicas resemblance too tiny and I didn't know if the tube was over-sized or if the rounds were under_sized.

They lock using a ridge just under the base of the grenade. You can see it on the real ones in this picture:

It is my impression that a 40mm shell will not fit the tube, and it certainly will not fire from the launcher. The one I have performs very well, no leaks. I'd like to get some more. I don't know if the resin ones will fit, but I also discovered that this replica disassembles pretty much exactly like a real BG25, so I wonder if DBoys used a real one as the base?

I love mine so far! I have not yet had a chance to test out the grenade... I wish it were compatible with standard 40mms. My only concern is about the stress it will put on the Kalash front ends.  My AKS74 has developed slight wobble where the larger pin secures the rear sight block to the receiver and I'm hoping the launcher won't break it over time.

Comrade, I doubt the launcher will break anything in the barrel pin area, that area of potmetal is rather thick, it will probably just exacerbate the wobble over time. However that can be corrected with metal shims in strategic locations.

I think part of the appeal is that it uses the correct-looking grenade. I am not sure why would you would want the superior defensive GP-25 grenade launcher complex to fire inferior offensive Western wrecker projectiles... very suspect Comrade... I fear for your safety... I would pack a warm coat just in case the State offers you a camping trip to a cold place...

Hmm, damnit, just noticed that the "pistol grip" on the launcher can easily get lost. Mine you can sort of slide of with little force. Need some nice progressive glues this GP25.

Do you happen to have pics of where you've added these metal shims? I'd like to see what you've done.  My AKS74 has very minor wobble in that area now and I'd like to correct it before it gets much worse. If you could PM me a couple pics I'd appreciate it!

I only say I wish it were compatible with other grenades for airsoft purposes.  It would be nice for it to be compatible with more commonly available grenades as we don't really know if/when the VOG style grenades will be released by Dboys.

so i would be able to mount this launcher on a real AK-74 rifle?  it says it only fits Dboys rifles.  i assume i can mount it to the lug on my real rifle but im waiting for more feedback before i buy one.

 Cheers

I read in the review that there were minor issues with fitting these onto VFC AKs? What about CYMAs? I'm pretty sure mine is a VFC clone.

Also does it only fit on AK74's or will it also fit on AK47 models?
