I believe he was responding to the person who can't view the facebook photos.

He's pretty much right.

No, he was responding to this:

Really needs to be a shit hot product considering how easy it would be to DIY one.

Which I honestly disagree with as well, given the two or three attempts I've seen on R-A before.

DIY Bizon? Depends on how accurate you want to go and which particular Bizon model you're aiming at; ignoring the unique stock catch, stumpy rear sight, enlarged ejection port and somewhat unique front sight post, it's a folding stock AK with a sheet metal upper handguard held in place by a notch in the front sight post and a small tab, with a unique muzzle break and horizontal magazine (with a large notch cut from the receiver to accommodate)
The handguards and magazines have gone through several iterations, with the simplest magazines being perfectly smooth metal tubes. The earlist Bizon even used AKS-74U style rear sights.

Good news is about MASS-production of Bizon replica at affordable price.

Not how "easy" is it to make one out of scrap metal.

If you have no ability for MASS-production, then you have no say in whether it is easy to reproduce Bizon or not.

I know, but I haven't seen any update on the price since. Do you have a source for that "new" 150-250 price?

I second the request fora source. $150USD seems incredibly cheap for a niche market AEG.

no update - but you can expect the release in September 2012.

my question: can anyone provide information on the size/dimensions of the PP-19 Magazines?
I want to know if I should get RPK pouches, or if they might fit in capitalist P90 pouches.

I would think you could fit 2 side by side in a double AK pouch. Does anyone have any pics of a Bizon or russian troop outfitted with one? Perhaps we could take a look at the guys are using for the real deal.

By scaling from a photo a magazine is around 250x65mm at the extremes (the front hook mount looks to take up a bit of space), otherwise about 55mm diameter.
There's a chance you could squeeze one into a double AK/RPK magazine pouch, but the AK pouch will be far too short to close.

As we learned with most other retailers... I'll wait until it's an "actual order" as opposed to a pre-order.  I need one like I need my lungs, but I don't have to be first in line for a product that still hasn't shipped yet.

Looking good though, and glad to know they fit double RPK pouches.  Looks like I'll have to pick me up some.

I don't suppose anyone has some shots of the internals.  I have a crazy idea to put a Daytonagun conversion drop in.  I'm kind of hoping they went with a standard style VFC style body and just modded it to there needs rather then building something from scratch.

not crazy at all. its the mag feeding is what could kill the project.  without taking down a mag to see how it will work. i think it may not have the force needing to load upward. with the mags so fat and needing rpk pouches. your better off sticking with an AKSU.

For those looking for pouches, I believe those mags are going to fit just fine in paintball pouches.

is this hands on test: http://www.publicenemy.com.hk/?p=4474

Too bad the chrono is out of focus because, to me, it looks like it reads some crazy numbers in the region of 475 and 546 FPS.
