There is already a topic about the AK12 IIRC ; but well, I hadn't seen these video. And I need an AEG one, too! With some Border Guards camo...

AK-12 was presented only(!) this year.
There is some new changes (u can see on video) like:
1. Now its OK for left-handed people too.
2. Now there will be three fire rates. by one, by three and automatic
3. Changed stock. Now it can be changed easily for length of ur arm
4. Made RIS'es
5. Made another switch of fire (like in M16)

yep, but u couldnt go away from standardization. It will make AK more flexible for upgrades.

Why first - there's not finished design of AK12. Just workable prototype.

Actually, where is the charging handle on the bolt? Its difficult to see since they keep changing from AK107, AK74M to AK12, but if you look closely at the video, there is no handle?! Undecided

You guys realize thats just the newer Finnish rig right? It came out 4-5 years ago. Gas tube, top cover, and muzzle brake are a dead give away. And yes, the charging handle is on the left side.

Yea, makes sense since they made the safety as such. But how would that work on an AK? Does the port remain on the right?
