Both!

Had the 1911 for a year now, added a Gen 2 Glock 22. Working on a deal right now for a Gen 4 Glock 23 with 3 mags, Hogue grips, IWB holster and original box for $450. Will have that after I come back from the field after September.

Both awesome weapons Smiley had my glock (gen 3) for like 4 years or so now, I've shot probably 6000 rounds out of it and never had any issues. Just got my Sig 1911 last week, another awesome pistol as well.

I'll be honest I love my glock for soo MANY reasons... But that damn Sig fits my hand like no other, maybe it's the weight? Maybe the full power of a .45 automatic and it's awesome follow-through to just fall back onto target after each shot. John Browning did an awesome damn job over 100 years ago on the design, and through time they've progress to keep up with modern firearms and in a lot of cases succeed many of them. It's hard for me to choose between the two because I'd reach for either one if my life depended on it, but I think I'd take my 1911, it's an over all better shooter in my hands then my Glock.

I'm still favoring the 1911 a bit right now, but likely because I have little experience with the Glock (for now).

I shot the pictured Glock for the first time.. my groups were on target, but a little open. At 20 yards I was showing 5" groups by the end of the day  Embarrassed It's because I'm spoiled with a super smooth trigger, no one can say a broken-in 1911 trigger isn't the smoothest out there, and beats a stock Glock trigger by far. That said, I'm not blaming the gun at all, it just feels different so I'm getting different results. The more I practice the better I will get, and I do plan on adjusting the trigger.

Despite the lower magazine capacity, if I had to fight for my life at this very moment, I would pick up the 1911. But in a few months or after enough range trips, that may change.
