It apparently uses the GHK GBB system so it will hopefully be reliable.

Should be a blast to shoot with the Samoon recoil kit!

No place for the motor. Different gearbox then? M14 one?

Looking very good, and with no cool down that I could see.

That is frickn awesome!
A lot of guns are piling up on my wish-list now.

Although the OTs-14 should *really* have the foregrip or grenade launcher to look ultimately mean.
I hope it takes the same 7.62 Mags as my GHK AKMS.

That would save me some cash Smiley

Ah, that's right :\
Looking at different gearboxes, the Thompson/p90 gearbox looks like an option, but it will probably sit a bit too high? I'm thinking that an M14 gearbox will be far too long, but I'm not sure.
I know that the ARES/S&T PPsh-41 is pretty compact, but I've never seen one myself.
Having an aeg Groza would be the best thing ever!

Best thing to do would be to use 7.62 GHK mags, then it would be similar looking to the OTs-14-01. Better than totally incorrect 5.45 mags anyway  Shocked

Looking for slings, pouches, Bayonets, and accessories for ak weapons. Specifically chicom style chest rigs, and middle eastern gear.

They said they used the 5.45x39 style magazines just because those are the best performing and higher capacity GBB magazines available, but they might release a conversion kit for 9x39 look in the future, as well as additional modules (supressor, vertical grip, etc)

So all in all, awesome gun as it is, even more awesome in the future.

higher capacity
No suprise since they are too long. And the mag should have ribs.

So this makes the choice tripple wrong.

Dear Keelen,

Thanks for your message. The HTs-14 comes with the GHK 5.45mm-style AK Magazine because of the the following consideration:

1. Magazine capacity and performance - the GHK 5.45mm-style AK magazine offers the highest capacity (suggested 40rds / max 48 rds) and the best performance because of its large gas tank and gasifying volumn. It gives the HTs-14 the maximum shooting performance.

2. Readiness and initial selling price - we have already designed the 9x39mm-style magazine for the HTs-14, but after discussing with GHK, our project partner, it was decided to release the HTs-14 with the 5.45mm-style AK magazine in terms of its readiness, and we would also keep the selling price low and affordable to more airsoft players without scarifying its performance.

The 9x39mm-style magazine kit will be released afterward as an optional items for HTs-14 owners to build a more realistic "Thunder" GBB. Actualy we have included the upcoming custom parts on the last page of the user manual, which will be shared on our website and Facebook later... Please stay tuned with our updates.

Thanks for your continuous support. Keep in touch.

Best regards,
Hephaestus Airsoft
