Very interesting mod to the magazine, never seen it before. Do you have some reference picture of that certain detail?
It makes perfect sense to me but I can't remember seeing it.

Very nice but I think the pink variant of the Mabuta-1 would be more appropriate for early to mid-80s period.

The OD green version didn't see much use in Afghanistan except for the very early special actions of 1979.

Its not unit name exactly but, type of unit. It means - Отдельный отряд специального назначения

Fantastic, the NSP3 is a lovely addition.  I was of the impression that the use of the 1PN58 would have taken over the reigns by the mid 80's - great work nonetheless
