AK47s Stock "button" - help!

The release "button" on my AK47s stock keeps falling off.  I can't seem to figure out how it is attached.  I believe it may have been attached with a screw through the back which has sheared off.  

I tried gluing it on but this has been unreliable.  I'd like to replace the entire assembly with a real-steel one but all of the info I have found (so far) states that you have to mate the pot-metal Airsoft hardware with the real-steel stock to make it work.

I'm looking for advice as to how to proceed with this.  Thanks.

you have to remove the whole stock and screw the screw back, then it wont dfall of again....use some screw-glue so it wont unscrew again

if you dont have screw-glue, you can always use nail polish to hold the screw. cheap and practical.

Fixed it tonight.  I have to replace a lot of the screws in the stock assembly which were stripped out, but everything is solid as a rock now.

talking about stock buttons does any one know where i can get them from ? as my stock and buttons  fell off when i jumped through a window i got the stock but lost the buttons .
