I think you're right - anxious to see how it performs.

Ive decided that i am not going to build a aks 47s bulgarian krinkov, but rather wait for the ICS ak74. Our team has two ICS (airsoft elite) mp5s and they are very nice guns powerful, nice sound, durable (as far as mp5s can be, every compnay makes one yet therye cocking handles always break on all of them from minimal cocking). Therye recent m4/m16 series rifles all seem to have good things said about them and a bit of bad from another. The working forward assist is genious, and Ive heard therye very durable and have nice gearboxes, some people said the foregrips are a bit odd on the m4s but ive only head this from one review (i dunno about the m16a3 they make though). I think ICS makes good stuff, and I have alot of confidence in ICS now and think that this new AK will be very durable, realistic (both from a metal body). powerful, and reasonably priced. So dont go blast 1000 dollars of a ak74 when ICS is right around the corner, unless you really do want that steel body. As far as everyone knows therye coming out with two models. But mabye thell come out with other models, an RPK 74 would be sweet. But We will all see, I have no doubts that these ICS AKs will be quality. So I am saving up, i was going to trade my old AK but due to a recent loss of another AEG I will have to sell it, that combined with a few other things will give me about 600-700 dollars, so Ill be able to get it with all the fixings plus some mags and some BDU accserories (i dont go russian I got terrorist, but woodland camo with some russian jackboots would look sweet with an AK vest and a black balacalava)

hey i just realized, What are they going to do about an orange flashider? The black one on the 74 is very unique, so are they going to make a orange one molded like it or just a regualar old orange m16 style flashider?

If they're smart, they'll do the orange birdcage thing and include the 74 brake in the box... marui style.

Marui does not include any orange flash hiders.  They are made to be used in Japan and Japan only.  They get exported out of Japan and into Hong Kong, and it is there that the orange flash hiders are added.  Simply ask for the flashider to be included with your gun if importing from Hong Kong, just be warned that it may be super glued onto the gun.
