Below I pasted scans from the manual. How to wear RD54 in battle conditions and during jumps.

One thing more - VDV was not jumping with steel pot! The only headgear was jumphelmet and furazhka or mabuta/M88 cap. When inserted on BMDs helmets and flak vest were issued but never when jumping.

Just switched from 1988 UAZ to 1970 Challenger and that makes a difference, especially by the gas pump Smiley
