Hi everybody,

I'm converting an AK metal body so it can take the RS M76 mags. However, I have some trouble in rebuilding the magazines. I followed the description on the OTI spetsnaz website. I cut off the top of AK47 magazine and I also slightly modified the SPAS12 shell. I'm about to glue these two parts together, however, the shell is about 3mm longer and it doesn't fit inside of the M76 magazine. Also the height of the rear magazine chatch doesn't match on AK47 and M76. Has someone done this modification before? If yes, how did U solve this problem?

Thanks for any advice!

Ok, I managed it somehow.. I brushed the bottom of the cartridge as much as it was possible..
Here is the outcome:

Looking good! I'm glad to see you've figured it out, it was indeed a problem child for me as well (I didn't see this post until just now...   ).

Looking forward to the finished results!  wink

I've done several M76's but I've never thougnt about modifying the body for RS M76 magazines. Now I found that it's not that hard Smiley
Big thanks to Niklas from OTI Spetsnaz!!

Just out of curiosity, what caliber is that gun in real-steel form? That magazine looks unusually long. Is it 7.62x51?

The Zastava M76 may come chambered in 7.62x54mm Rimmed, 7.62x51mm NATO or 7.92x57mm Mauser.

After few days of work, here's the outcome - an entire M76 kit with 6 RS magazines, converted in airsoft..
